Local Artist’s Success in Major National Art Exhibition
Work by a local artist has been chosen from over 800 entries to exhibit at the prestigious annual exhibition of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours held at the Mall Galleries from Thursday 15th March – Thursday 5th April 2007. Always a must-see event in the London exhibition calendar, it is renowned for displaying the paintings of notable Members of the RI as well as work selected from many new painters working in the medium from around the country. The exhibition shows uses of the watercolour medium in its wider sense, from good examples of traditional paintings to more experimental works using soluble mediums, all making anexciting display, making it a key place to buy outstanding work by living artists.
