Born in Hertfordshire. John paints in a loose style and is self taught. He has had several one man exhibitions and his paintings are in private collections worldwide. In 2007 one of his paintings has been selected by the RI (Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours) for their prestigious exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London, and another painting has been selected by Woodmansterne cards to be published as a greetings card.
